Servus. Also beim Jiggen kommen Butterfly Jigs zwischen 150-250g zum Einsatz. Für Bonitos kleine Meerforellenblinker und für die dicken Ruten dann Bonitos oder Fetzen :-)

Great footage with some very nice catches. Ca you list some of the gear used, rods and reels mainly. Thank you
We recommend to use PE8-10 popping rods with 18k size reels like Shimano Stella / Daiwa Saltiga. Jigging we use PE6-8 rods with reels with lower gear ratio like Shimano Stella / Daiwa Saltiga. There are many brands you can buy like xZoga, Temple Reef, Jigging Master, Major Craft, Zenaq, Hearty Rise, Höwk etc... If you look for "cheaper" options for reels, you could go with Shimano Saragosa or Penn Spinfisher. But in the long run you will be better off with the Stellas or Saltigas.

What are the recommended focal lengths for this hide.
Hi. 400mm 2.8 is a great choice and two wider lenses like 24-70 2.8 and 70-200 2.8. The longer lens should be at least 400mm. Hope this helps!

Where the fresh and sea water meets. I need any tip and advice from pro fishers like you. How can I catch those giants? Especially cubbera snapper. Thats a monster! Please help me on this one! Hi. It really depends on the river mouth itself. The lures we use in the video are really good for this kind of West African Coast. Just check on our channel there is a tackle talk about the lures to bring to Gabon. Am sure they might work at your place as well. Cheers!
